For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?
Again, like my last post, I feel like Paul is speaking to me through this letter to the Corinthians. I feel like when things are good in life, I praise God even less. You would think that this would be the opposite, but for me that's my struggle. I tend to stop thinking or forget about how grateful I am for the good times and for carrying me through the bad times, and instead I live life with not much praise for Him. It's seems so much easier (although maybe "easier" is not the right word) to praise God and boast about God when going through tough times b/c every victory big or small is amazing when you are fully relying on Him. I continue to wonder how can I live a life full of praise in all circumstances; what is it in me that needs to change...and the answer again seems to be a humble heart.
