So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
What stood out to me in these chapters was that Paul really emphasized the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Everything we do and everything that guides us should be by the Spirit. I think I often times forget or overlook the fact that the Spirit is always with me and there to guide me in all situations. I was also reminded about the fruit of the Spirit which are qualities I know are lacking in my life and that I desire more of.
