Acts 12:5, 16

v.5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

v.16 But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.

We looked at these verses last week at prayer meeting and this week it's again in our reading. Coincidence? I think not. Anyways, after reading the conversion of Saul, I've been led to pray even more earnestly this past week for a specific person in my life. I feel like in the past I haven't been able to pray with much conviction or belief that God would open this person's eyes to see Him, but I think it's different this time. I've seen the way God changed Paul and Peter's lives and I'm reminded that He can change and mold all types of hearts. I'm also reminded in v.16 that I should not be surprised when God does answer my prayers too!
