Acts 26:28-29

Then Agrippa said to Paul, "Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?" Paul replied, "Short time or long - I pray God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains."

I really like how Paul is not interested in the "time" it takes for these people to become believers, but rather his only concern is that they become believers. I think so often I put pressure on myself or get discouraged when things don't happen immediately or according to how I think it should play out. When I really should just focus on the main goal and not how long it takes to reach that goal. Paul's statement also reveals that he's not concerned how long it will take for people to be "persuaded" b/c he's willing to invest and take that time. He stayed imprisoned for so many years and he just continued to share to whoever would listen. I need to have more of that type of attitude and not just focus on instant results.
