When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."
From this passage, I saw that it was OK to have objections and opinions. I think about how sometimes at church we quarrel so much, we have so many different opinions, and we object so much. So, here it shows that the earlier church had differences in opinions, too. However, they resolved their conflict when they realized what God was doing. We need to take time to listen to God to see what He's doing at our church. What God did through Peter was so "out-of-the-norm", and it seemed so wrong to so many people at the time, but when the followers had sat down and listened to God (in this case, Peter testified about God), they came to the same conclusion, and were able to PRAISE GOD! We need to do the same. We ought not to limit God.
