When the seven days were nearly over, some Jews from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him, shouting, "Men of Israel, help us! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against our people and our law and this place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple area and defiled this holy place."
As I read these verses, I was reminded that Jesus being completely obedient to his Father, also received the same kind of responses from the Jews. I was reminded that as we follow the Way, oppositions are going to come; we need not to be afraid. Even though Jesus died on the cross, He lives today. If we die for His sake, we will also live. That's the promise of His Word. The promise that God gave to His people. We need not to be afraid!
