After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
I was really impressed by these first few chapters in Acts b/c Peter and the disciples spoke so boldly about Jesus' resurrection. They repeatedly pointed out that it was their audience, the Jews, that put Jesus to death and that they all needed to turn to God and believe in Jesus Christ. They also continued to make sure that all glory and recognition of power was given to God. Reading these chapters made me wish I were more bold in speech, and then towards the end of Chapter 4 there was this verse. The believers gathered to pray for great boldness and immediately after that their prayers were answered! Wow, I guess I know what I need to be praying for!
