18:5 "...yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!"
11:8 "...yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs."
The top verse was in in today's reading and it made me think of this verse from a previous chapter b/c both illustrate that when someone asks boldly and persistently for something the other person would do it not b/c of their love or relationship or faith, but for the simple fact of asking boldly. In the same way this is a reminder to us that God, above all else, will also answer our prayers and help us out when we ask boldly and persistently.
