All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.
It touches me every time when I read this passage about the widow. I'm amazed at the faith that this woman had. 2 pennies was all she had, and she gave it all to God/Jesus. This woman knew and trust that God will provide for her. She gave without reserve. How much faith do I have? and what am I still holding back? I'm not sure if she struggled with giving, but she gave to God willingly, and Jesus recognized her heart. I pray that I'll do that same, too.
