These verses stood out to me because they show how patient God is in dealing with us, and how much He longs to give us 2nd chances. He is just, yet forgiving and compassionate. Somehow these verses reminds me that Jesus, our Great High Priest, is constantly interceding on our behalf. If He is for us, who can be against us?! Let us live life worthy of our callings.

Luke 13:8-9
" 'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' "
