When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today."
I love how Jesus saw and recognized Zacchaeus' efforts to see Him. He not only acknowledged that Zacchaeus was seeking him out, but told Zacchaeus that he would come to stay with him. I also like how this is a reminder to me that God sees us where we're at and sees our heart and actions in our attempt to see and be with Him more....And He not only sees us, but comes to us and meets with us. As I seek out God more and seek out His plans for my future, I also pray that I may be bold and quick in action to give over what I have to Christ like Zacchaeus was when Jesus came to him (v.8).
